Before performing the test, here are the different steps:

- Grind the samples during 5 minutes using mortar and pestle.
- Sieve the powder through a 80/100 mesh (177 or 150 microns).
- Arrange in pillbox without cover and number the samples.
- Drying during 24 hours at 60 ° C maximum (The powdered sediments tend to absorb moisture quickly).
- Weigh the samples.
